Russian kamikaze drone hit a children's sanatorium in Kharkiv: there is a fire.
According to ТСН: On the night of January 13, Russian occupiers attacked Kharkiv using a strike drone. As a result of the strike on the children's medical facility in the city, a fire broke out.
Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported that the children's sanatorium located in the Shevchenkivskyi district was hit.
“Confirmation of a strike by a 'Shahed' on the children's sanatorium in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kharkiv has been recorded. There is a fire on the scene,” Terekhov noted.
They are currently clarifying information about the scale of the destruction and checking data on possible casualties as a result of the strike.
Earlier, it was reported that as a result of enemy shelling in Kharkiv region on the night of January 13, two people died.
It was also noted that on the same night, Ukraine was attacked by enemy drones of the 'Shahed' type.
This attack once again emphasizes the threat posed by enemy actions to the civilian population and infrastructure facilities, including children's institutions. The situation remains tense, and the relevant services continue to work on assessing the damage and rescuing victims.
