According to TSN.ua: Police in Kharkiv have detained a 42-year-old man for the sexual abuse of a minor and the possession of child pornography. During searches, authorities discovered approximately 23,000 files of illegal content. This collection included about 500 photos and videos depicting a naked four-year-old girl. According to Andrii Sharnin, the suspect is accused of committing lewd acts against his stepdaughter, specifically producing photo and video materials with characteristics of child pornography involving her. This case highlights the persistent global challenge of online child exploitation networks.

The suspect's actions are being prosecuted under Part 1 of Article 301-1 and Part 2 of Article 156 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. He faces a potential sentence of up to eight years in prison.
