According to ТСН: New body fragments were discovered at the site of the missile strike that hit the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv on January 2. This was reported by the city's mayor Igor Terekhov.
He noted that rescue operations at the site of this war crime are ongoing.
It was previously known that a child's body was found under the rubble of a five-story building.
The head of the Kharkiv regional military administration Oleg Synegubov reported that as a result of this attack, two people died: a 3-year-old boy and his 22-year-old mother. 27 people were injured, seven of whom remain hospitalized.
Details of the attack
Recall that on January 2, Russian troops launched another attack on Kharkiv, striking with 'Iskander' missiles at a densely populated residential area in the Kyiv district. The blow was so sudden that the air raid alert system did not have time to activate.
This attack became yet another tragic episode in the ongoing war and is a reminder of the serious risks faced by civilians in conflict zones. Rescue teams are working to find possible survivors under the rubble, while families of the deceased receive support from local authorities.
