False report

According to the regional prosecutor's office, the 52-year-old man was found guilty of knowingly false reporting about the preparation of an explosion in a building that ensures the functioning of state authorities, in accordance with part 2 of article 259 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Arrest and punishment

It was established that the man, while intoxicated, called '102' and provided false information about the bombing of the Khmelnytskyi district territorial recruitment center and social support.

He was detained in accordance with article 208 of the Criminal Procedural Code of Ukraine, and the court sentenced him to 5 years and 2 months of imprisonment.
