New drone attack on Kyiv: what is known about the threat from the north.

According to ТСН: Air raid alerts were declared again in Kyiv this morning, and explosions were heard in the capital. The previous alert lasted from 00:05 to 00:26.

This information was confirmed by the alerts map, as well as reports from the Kyiv City State Administration and monitoring chats.

“An air raid alert has been declared in Kyiv! We ask everyone to urgently proceed to civil protection shelters.”

The Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the alert in Kyiv and several areas of the region was declared due to the threat of drones. According to available data, these are jet drones.

“A drone group from Chernihiv Oblast is heading towards northern Kyiv (Vyshhorod district). Drones are approaching Kyiv from the north.”

Sirens are also heard in several areas of Kyiv, Chernihiv, and Dnipropetrovsk Oblasts.

It is worth noting that last night, January 13th, the Russian army carried out a massive strike on Kyiv, leading to new ballistic weapon attacks. This further complicated the situation with electricity and heat in the capital due to the increasing energy deficit.
