Details of the detention
The incident occurred on Maksym Kryvonos Street in the Solomyanskyi district of the capital. It turned out that the 39-year-old detainee was wanted. During the detention, he resisted, which forced the law enforcement officers to use gas.
"Subsequently, the man was taken for a military medical commission," the police stated.
Previous detention
Earlier in Kyiv, on Harmatna Street, the police detained a man who refused to show his documents. Six police officers and a man in military uniform were present at the scene.
"Already during the detention, the man agreed to provide his documents. It turned out that he had a reservation. Therefore, no protocols were drawn up against him, the detention did not occur, and he was released," the police reported.
These two cases highlight the tension and frequency of detentions in the capital amidst modern challenges. Law enforcement continues to actively fulfill its duties, using various methods to maintain order, considering the situation in the country.
