The U.S. Department of Justice has released Epstein files: What was found in the documents

According to ТСН: The U.S. Department of Justice has released a portion of documents related to the investigation of Jeffrey Epstein's case. In the published materials, some data are blurred or classified, including information about crime victims and other private individuals, as well as confidential materials.

Among the thousands of documents that have become publicly available are photographs, recorded phone calls, jury testimonies, and transcripts of interrogations. The materials also include photographs of compact discs and tapes with recordings. Many handwritten notes mention Ghislaine Maxwell, who was convicted of aiding Epstein's crimes.

Some photos show former U.S. President Bill Clinton, British musician and actor Mick Jagger, and American pop star Michael Jackson. Another part of the materials contains 50 censored images of naked women.

According to information, more files related to Epstein's case are expected to be released in the coming days, which may have political implications in the U.S.

How Trump is connected to Epstein

During the 2024 presidential campaign, Trump promised to release the 'Epstein files,' but after the elections, he tried to avoid this step. In July, he called the documents 'lies' and 'boring.' Pressure on Trump increased when Democratic Party congress members released three emails mentioning the current U.S. president.

Trump and Epstein were close friends in business and social circles in the late 1980s. In 1990, Epstein purchased a house near Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida.

In 2019, Epstein was charged with sex trafficking. At that time, Trump stated that he had not communicated with Epstein for the last 15 years. After Epstein's death, Trump called for a full investigation and returned to this topic six years later.

Questions related to Epstein's case continue to attract media and public attention. The released documents may unveil new details of this shocking case, influence political events in the U.S., and again raise questions about the connections between power and business.
