In Ternopil, a 12-year-old girl died from her injuries: her mother was killed.
According to ТСН: A tragedy occurred in Ternopil: as a result of a Russian missile attack, 12-year-old Adriana died in the hospital after nine days of fighting for her life. At the time of the incident, she was with her mother, who also died.
Information about the victims
Mayor Serhiy Nadal reported this sad news:
“Little Adriana Unolt, 12 years old, died after a nine-day battle for life. Her mother was killed, her sister is still in the hospital. Now Adriana is where there is no fear and explosions, alongside her mother, in a quiet and bright place, unreachable by war.”
The girl's 39-year-old mother, Olena Unolt, worked as a hairdresser and was the daughter of the honored artist of Ukraine, Lyudmyla Chervinska, who was also injured in the attack and is now in intensive care. The younger daughter, ten-year-old Yeva, is also in the hospital.
Tragedy in the city
At the site of the missile strike, which occurred on one of the residential buildings, search and rescue operations lasted for four days. Many residents were trapped under the rubble. Initially, it was reported that a X-101 cruise missile hit the building, the debris of which was found at the strike site.
As of November 27, it is known that the total number of those killed in Ternopil is 34 people, including seven children. Another 6 people are considered missing, including 1 child.
This tragedy has become yet another horrifying testament to the consequences of the war, which continues to take the lives of civilians. The situation in Ternopil and other Ukrainian cities remains tense, as every new shelling brings grief and suffering to families and entire communities.
