Russia has again destroyed Feldman Ecopark: volunteers are clearing the rubble and rescuing animals.
According to ТСН: At the 'Feldman Ecopark' in Kharkiv region, work continues to clear the rubble, as animals may still be trapped beneath it.
Attack on the Ecopark
On January 1, Russian forces struck 'Feldman Ecopark' with a guided aerial bomb. As a result of the attack, some animals were killed, the exact number of which is currently being clarified. This was reported by the park's spokesperson Olena Klymenko on air.
“The park was damaged by 90%. There was not a single surviving enclosure, and this room, where the birds were, has essentially been restored, rebuilt from scratch. And now it has again been destroyed. What we restored with such strength, such desire, and with hope for the better has again suffered destruction,” Klymenko said.
Help from Volunteers
The spokesperson also noted that after the attack, people began actively calling and coming to provide assistance.
Volunteers and residents of Kharkiv joined the clearing of the rubble and supporting the park in the morning.
We remind you that on January 1, 2026, an attack by the Russian army occurred on 'Feldman Ecopark' near Kharkiv.
This tragedy once again highlights the importance of supporting efforts to rescue animals and restore parks in conflict zones. The efforts of volunteers and concerned individuals play a crucial role in preserving the lives and well-being of animals affected by military actions.
