According to ТСН: As a result of shelling from Russia, emergency electricity outages are being introduced in Ukraine.
This was reported by the regional energy company, noting that the duration of the outages is uncertain due to the unstable situation.
Khmelnytskyi region
In the Khmelnytskyi region, due to enemy attacks, electricity networks have been damaged, causing some consumers to be left without power. Energy workers are working to restore electricity supply.
Ternopil region
In the Ternopil region, after large-scale shelling of energy facilities, a schedule for emergency outages has been introduced under the direction of NEC 'Ukrenergo' from 08:21 until further notice.
Zhytomyr region
Emergency electricity outages have been introduced in the Zhytomyr region at the direction of NEC 'Ukrenergo'.
Kharkiv region
In Kharkiv and the region, schedules for emergency outages have been implemented to stabilize energy networks, which are supplemented by hourly outages.
Chernivtsi region
“Emergency outages have been applied in the Chernivtsi region,” the regional energy company emphasized.
Poltava region
In the Poltava region, schedules for emergency outages have also been introduced.
“We received an order from NEC 'Ukrenergo' to implement emergency outages in the amount of three shifts,” the company reported.
Cherkasy region
In the Cherkasy region, due to massive attacks, schedules for emergency outages started being implemented at 07:07 under the command of NEC 'Ukrenergo'.
Chernihiv region
In Chernihiv region, at the direction of NEC 'Ukrenergo', five shifts of emergency outage schedules have been introduced.
Kyiv and region
Emergency electricity outages have been implemented in Kyiv and the region by order of NEC 'Ukrenergo'.
“Emergency outages are conducted outside the schedules, as they are applied in critical situations, without warning and promptly,” the company noted.
Dnipropetrovsk region
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, according to the instruction of NEC 'Ukrenergo', emergency outages have also been introduced.
The Russian Federation carried out a massive attack on Ukraine on December 23, using strike drones and missiles of various types. The main goal of these strikes was to damage energy infrastructure, which led to the introduction of emergency outages in many regions.
