Russian shelling left three regions without electricity: where emergency outages are in effect

According to ТСН: On Saturday, emergency electricity outages were implemented in several regions of Ukraine due to Russian shelling. Currently, disconnection schedules are not in effect in three regions.

NEK "Ukrenergo" reported that as a result of missile and drone attacks, the energy infrastructure in southern Ukraine was damaged. Outages occurred in the Odesa region, including parts of the regional center, as well as in Mykolaiv. The right bank of Kherson region and some settlements in Chernihiv region have been completely disconnected.

“Due to the significant number of disconnected consumers as a result of shelling, the hour-by-hour disconnection schedules in Odesa, Mykolaiv, and Kherson regions are currently not in effect,” the "Ukrenergo" reported.

In other regions, consumption restrictions are being applied.

Odesa Region

In DTEK Odesa Electric Networks, it was noted that many settlements remain without electricity.

“In parts of Odesa, Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, Bolhrad, Podilskyi, Peresyp, Khadzhybei, Kyiv, and Prymorsky districts, there has been a power outage due to a local emergency in the grid,” the company's statement said.

Mykolaiv Region

From the press service of "Mykolaivoblenergo," it became known that emergency outages are in effect in the region.

“Since the night, consumers in the regional center and two districts of Mykolaiv region have been disconnected,” the company emphasized.

Kherson Region

The head of the regional military administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, reported that part of Kherson region, particularly the city of Kherson, was affected by Russian strikes.

In the Kherson community, there are interruptions in electricity and water supply, and trolleybuses did not depart on routes. The water company announced a water supply schedule: from 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Let us recall that the Russian Federation carried out a massive strike on Ukraine's energy system — Dnipropetrovsk, Chernihiv, Odesa, and Mykolaiv regions suffered significant damage. Many consumers have been left without electricity.

President Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized that the main strike by the Russian Federation was aimed at energy — at the south and Odesa region. Currently, more than one million subscribers are without electricity.

The situation in Ukraine's energy sector remains complicated due to constant attacks. Officials and energy workers are doing everything possible to restore electricity and water supply. How they will respond to these challenges in the coming days remains to be seen, but the resilience of Ukrainians during such trials has always been impressive.
