Energy Minister Denys Shmyhal outlined these plans following a meeting with the leadership of NPC Ukrenergo. He stated that projects are currently being developed to improve the transmission of electricity from the western to the eastern parts of the country. As part of these emergency measures, the government has authorized movement on the streets of Kyiv and the Kyiv region during curfew hours. Residents need only present a personal identification document to travel. These steps are intended to facilitate repair work and provide convenience for citizens living under difficult conditions.
