Drone debris in Kyiv trapped people in apartments: how they were rescued.
According to ТСН: As a result of shelling by Russian troops in the Svyatoshinsky district of Kyiv, drone debris fell on a residential building, leading to shattered windows and damaged balconies.
Actions of rescue services
The spokesperson for the Kyiv City Military Administration noted that during the fall of the debris, people were trapped in their apartments. Rescue services quickly arrived on the scene and were able to free all the affected residents.
“Thank God, the number of injured is small”.
Assessment of damage
According to her, the building was found to have broken windows and damaged balconies, but preliminary reports indicate that critical destruction has not been recorded. Currently, special services are conducting a detailed examination of the building to determine whether it is safe for people to remain in their apartments.
Possible temporary relocation
The official explained that after the inspection is completed, the services will be able to determine whether some residents need temporary relocation to other housing, or if they can remain in their apartments.
“This will be worked out by the services within a few hours, and detailed information will follow”.
It is also known that as a result of the Russian attack on Kyiv, the injured are currently in moderate condition. One child has been hospitalized in 'Okhmatdyt'.
This situation in the Svyatoshinsky district underscores the continuing threat to civilians in wartime. Addressing the safety of residents has become a priority for the local administration, which is responding promptly to the challenges that arise due to dangerous events.
