Fedir Hurynets' Wartime Efforts

According to TSN.ua: Ukrainian actor Fedir Hurynets, best known for his role in the TV series 'Svaty' ('Matchmakers'), has shared the challenges he faced trying to register with the Territorial Recruitment Center (TCC) during the full-scale war in Ukraine. Despite personally visiting the TCC three times in hopes of receiving a draft notice, he encountered significant bureaucratic hurdles. Russia's full-scale invasion began on February 24, and from that point onward, Hurynets actively sought to sort out his military status.

Shortly after the war started, Hurynets moved to a different apartment in Kyiv, a change that unexpectedly affected his military registration. Because he altered his place of residence, he was removed from the military rolls, which complicated his attempts to get a summons. According to reports, the TCC only contacted him a full year after his last visit—a delay that left him genuinely surprised.

'God, they finally remembered me!' the actor remarked, describing his reaction to the long-awaited phone call.

Hurynets acknowledged that he has no prior military experience:

'I don't know how to shoot; that's not my thing. But I have a very analytical mind and a good memory,' he added.
These comments show he takes the situation seriously while also recognizing his limitations in combat-related tasks.

The Importance of Communication

Fedir Hurynets' story highlights the difficulties many Ukrainians face during wartime, especially when it comes to mobilization and military registration. His experience underscores the critical need for clear communication between citizens and military institutions—an issue that has become even more pressing amid the ongoing conflict.

Given the numerous challenges ordinary people encounter, stories like this can help improve Ukraine's registration and mobilization systems. They also raise public awareness about the obstacles faced by those who are eager to fulfill their duty to the country.
