Yellow danger code on December 14: where ice and black ice are expected in Ukraine.
According to ТСН: Tomorrow, most regions are expected to have black ice, wet snow sticking, and icy roads.
According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, there may be light precipitation in the form of wet snow and rain tonight in the west and north of Ukraine. During the day, except for the eastern regions, moderate precipitation is expected across the country. In the northern, central, and southern regions, black ice, wet snow sticking, and icy roads are predicted.
Wind and Temperature
The wind will blow from the south, switching to the northwest, at a speed of 7-12 m/s, with gusts of 15-20 m/s possible during the day in the western regions.
Air temperature:
at night -1 to -6°;
during the day from -4° to +1°;
in the Odesa region 3-8°;
in the western regions at night from +3° to -2°, during the day from +1° to +6°.
Dangerous Weather Phenomena
The Hydrometeorological Center warns of dangerous meteorological phenomena. Icy roads will be present tonight in the Zhytomyr and Kyiv regions. During the day, there is a possibility of wet snow sticking and icy conditions in the northern, central, and most southern regions. Icy conditions will be observed in Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, and Kherson regions.
The I level of danger is established, yellow.
"Weather conditions may lead to complications in the operation of energy, construction, and communal enterprises, as well as transport traffic."
It is also reported that a cold snap is approaching Ukraine.
