Ukrainian forces continue their attack in Glushkovsky district of Kursk region. The Institute for the Study of War (ISW) reported this.

According to analysts, Ukrainian troops are located in Vesely and have managed to capture this settlement. At the same Time, Russian sources reported that Ukrainians have already advanced west of Medvezhy and from Tyotkino along the border with Sumy region.

ISW also reported that on September 14 Ukrainian forces continued to advance north of Sudzha, managing to capture Cherkasskoye Porechne.

According to geolocated images published on September 13, Russian forces penetrated the western part of Lyubimovka, and the next day managed to continue advancing deeper into the settlement of Borka.

Now the Ukrainians have captured two more settlements in the Kursk region. In addition, Ukrainian forces successfully broke through Russian defenses and penetrated several kilometers deep into Russian territory.

President Zelensky stated that Ukraine had anticipated Russian actions in the Kursk region and Russian counteroffensive actions are proceeding according to the Ukrainian plan.

Vladimir Putin ordered to oust the Ukrainian army from the Kursk region by October 1. However, DeepState analysts claim that the situation on the left flank of the AFU in the Kursk region is deteriorating as Russian forces have actively initiated assault actions using rivers to transfer armored vehicles.
