According to ТСН: Approximately 300,000 Ukrainians have used the '3000 km Across Ukraine' program in the 'Ukrzaliznytsia' mobile app. As of December 3, over 24,100 tickets have been issued.

This was reported by the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yulia Svyrydenko, on social media.

Popular Routes

The program is actively used by volunteers, students, and children from frontline areas. The most popular routes are: Kyiv — Konotop, Kyiv — Mykolaiv, Kharkiv — Kyiv, Odesa — Dnipro, Dnipro — Lviv, Yulia Svyrydenko noted.

Support During the War

According to her, the program operates in a test mode on routes to and from frontline regions. The project continues its activities, providing assistance to the most vulnerable categories of the population and active citizens during the difficult winter season.

Economic Viability of the Initiative

It is worth recalling that the President of Ukraine announced free travel for 3000 km for all citizens. However, experts and the public question the economic viability of this initiative in wartime conditions.

Earlier, it was reported that the free ticket under the '3000 kilometers across Ukraine' program does not include bedding, tea, or coffee.

The '3000 km Across Ukraine' program has become an important element of support for Ukrainians, especially those who find themselves in difficult conditions due to the war. It opens up new travel opportunities and provides access to resources in challenging times. However, questions about economic efficiency remain relevant, and society needs open discussions about the continuation of such initiatives.
