Winter Support can now be spent in supermarkets: how it works.
According to ТСН: In Ukraine, there is now an opportunity to buy domestic products (excluding excise goods) using the state programs 'Winter Support' and 'National Cashback'.
The first to implement this opportunity were the trade networks Fozzy Group, which includes the stores 'Silpo', 'Fora', THRASH! TRASH! and Fozzy, as well as the 'Blizhenko' network.
Payments under the program are made in accordance with the Cabinet of Ministers' resolution No. 1443, which specifies the MCC codes.
List of trade network codes:
MCC 5411 — supermarkets and grocery stores
MCC 5499 — markets, specialized stores, and points of sale of semi-finished products
Today, funds from the 'Winter Support' program can be used for a number of services and goods, including medicines.
We remind you that the program 'Winter Support' started in Ukraine. From November 15, the application process for a one-time payment of 1000 UAH began. Assistance can be obtained for oneself and for children.
The spent funds can be used to pay for utilities, purchase medicines, domestic food products (excluding excise goods), books, as well as for charity contributions and postal services.
The application can be submitted until December 24, 2025. Money will be credited to the National Cashback card for payment, and it can be spent until June 30, 2026.
This initiative is aimed at supporting Ukrainian producers and promoting the development of the domestic market. The 'Winter Support' and 'National Cashback' programs create new opportunities for citizens in a difficult time, providing access to necessary goods and services. It is important to take advantage of this opportunity, as the participation periods in the programs are limited.
