According to TSN.ua: Ex-soloist of the band YUKO, Yuliya Yurina, spoke about her relationship with her parents who live in Russia and her pro-Ukrainian stance. The artist, who has been living in Ukraine for about 15 years, noted that there are certain difficulties in communicating on this topic within her family.
Yuliya Yurina, who is currently 31 years old, claims that her parents who remained in Russia might not even know about her intentions to obtain Ukrainian citizenship.
“I feel like they don’t even know about it,” - she mentioned.She also added that their communication happens very rarely, mostly during major holidays.
“We somehow just don’t connect. We communicate very rarely,” - emphasized Yuliya.
