According to TSN.ua: In anticipation of heavy snowfall, Ivano-Frankivsk Mayor Ruslan Martsinkiv has appealed to residents to volunteer for snow clearing. The city administration is prepared to provide necessary equipment, such as shovels, to all volunteers who join this community initiative.
Residents can obtain a shovel by calling 1580 or the mobile numbers 050 010 15 80 and 067 010 15 80. Mayor Martsinkiv emphasized that shovels will be available starting tomorrow for the large-scale cleanup. He also noted that all equipment must be returned once the work is complete.
Significance of the Initiative
This call to action is crucial given the forecast for a sharp temperature drop and significant snowfalls expected in the Lviv region. The city is counting on active public participation to ensure roads and walkways remain safe and passable for everyone.
The appeal for volunteer snow removal in Ivano-Frankivsk highlights the ongoing need for cooperation between local authorities and citizens during challenging weather conditions.

Such community efforts not only improve mobility within the city but also help strengthen social bonds. Given the weather forecasts, active resident participation in this initiative could significantly mitigate the impact of the expected snowstorms. This approach is common in many Ukrainian cities during winter, where municipal resources are supplemented by community action.
