According to TSN.ua: Kyivstar, in collaboration with photographers Kostiantyn and Vlada Liberovy, has unveiled the photo project "Connection is People." The series documents the critical work of telecommunications engineers operating under the extreme conditions of war, highlighting the vital importance of the connectivity they maintain.

Regions Visited and Work Documented

In January 2023, the photographers traveled to 10 regions of Ukraine, including:

  • Donetsk Oblast
  • Kharkiv Oblast
  • Dnipropetrovsk Oblast
  • Kherson Oblast
  • Zaporizhzhia Oblast

The images capture the restoration of base stations, the use of generators to power the network, and the emergency repair work essential for sustaining stable communications during the ongoing conflict. This work is a lifeline for civilians and defense efforts alike.

The photographs will be featured in Kyivstar's media and social channels. Starting February 23, they will also be displayed publicly in Kyiv, Dnipro, Kharkiv, and Lviv.

"This project truly changed our perception of reality" — Kostiantyn and Vlada Liberovy

Oleksandr Komarov, a company representative, emphasized, "I am sincerely proud of the team that, under wartime conditions, provides connectivity for the country."

The "Connection is People" project stands as a powerful testament to the professionals who maintain Ukraine's communications infrastructure against immense odds. By showcasing the engineers' resilience, Kyivstar not only honors its employees but also underscores the indispensable role of reliable communication during a national crisis, where every call and message can be crucial.
