Strikes Across Ukraine on March 31

According to TSN.ua: During the night of March 31, the Russian military launched widespread strikes across Ukraine, targeting residential areas and civilian infrastructure in multiple regions. The attacks hit Odesa, Poltava, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Donetsk oblasts, underscoring an escalation in enemy aggression. This surge in violence marks one of the most extensive bombardments in recent weeks, affecting millions of civilians.

In Odesa Oblast, a Russian drone struck a nine-story apartment building, injuring a 50-year-old man. According to Serhiy Lisak, head of the Odesa Regional Administration,

“toward morning, the enemy attacked Odesa with strike UAVs.”
In Poltava Oblast, local officials reported one fatality and three injuries, including an 11-year-old boy. Vitaliy Dyakivnych, a regional administration representative, confirmed:
“Unfortunately, one person has died.”

Regional Situation

In Sumy Oblast, 140 strikes hit 46 settlements, leaving 14 people injured. Zaporizhzhia Oblast endured 1,121 attacks in a single day, reflecting a dire situation in the area. In Donetsk Oblast, an airstrike on Sloviansk damaged 22 private homes. Dnipropetrovsk Oblast faced over 30 strikes, while five settlements came under fire in Kherson Oblast.

Additionally, 267 enemy drones were either shot down or suppressed during the hostilities. Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Administration, noted that

“the enemy actively used various types of weapons in Kharkiv Oblast.”
These events highlight the intensifying conflict and the ongoing threat to civilians in Ukraine.
