Arrest of a domestic tyrant in Rivne region: a man has abused his partner for a year.

According to ТСН: In the Rivne region, law enforcement officers detained a man who systematically used violence against his partner. The woman could not endure it any longer and decided to turn to the police.

The 30-year-old man repeatedly committed psychological violence against his 23-year-old common-law wife for a year. He had previously faced administrative penalties under Article 173-2 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses, but he did not change his behavior and did not show remorse.

“The 30-year-old man repeatedly committed psychological violence against his 23-year-old common-law wife for a year. Earlier, he had already been brought to administrative responsibility under Article 173-2 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses; however, he did not stop his unlawful behavior and did not show remorse for his actions,” the message states.

During one of the conflicts, the abuser applied not only psychological pressure but also physical force. Investigators have already informed the man of the suspicion against him, and the pre-trial investigation is ongoing.

In addition, the police detained a resident of Odesa, suspected of raping his minor niece and producing child pornography.

This arrest underscores the seriousness of the problem of domestic violence and the importance of victims turning to law enforcement. The current situation highlights the need for continued educational campaigns to support victims of domestic violence and prevent similar crimes in the future.
