It was also reported earlier that on the night of February 9, Ukraine was attacked by enemy Shahed-type drones. The full consequences of the strike are currently being assessed.
Escalation of Hostilities
This assault is part of an intensification of military action in Ukraine that has persisted for several months. Enemy drones, particularly the Shahed model, have been repeatedly deployed by Russian forces to attack Ukrainian cities, underscoring the ongoing threat faced by the civilian population. Such incidents highlight the critical need for heightened readiness and civilian protection measures during an armed conflict. The use of these Iranian-made drones has become a frequent tactic in Russia's long-range strike campaigns.
