Russia Strikes 43 Settlements in Zaporizhzhia Region in Single Day, Setting New Record for Attacks.
Massive Wave of Russian Assaults
According to TSN.ua: Russian forces unleashed an unprecedented barrage across Zaporizhzhia Oblast, hitting 43 populated areas with a record-breaking 1,121 strikes in just 24 hours. The assault also involved 853 drones deployed against the region. This marks the highest number of daily attacks recorded so far in the area.
On March 31, the Russian military launched a heavy strike on the Poltava district, killing one person and wounding at least four others, including two children. The shelling partially damaged an apartment building in the city of Poltava.
That same day, a drone struck a residential high-rise in Odesa, injuring a 50-year-old man. According to Ivan Fedorov,
“the enemy has prioritized the Zaporizhzhia direction for its attacks.”The situation across these regions remains tense amid relentless shelling and assaults by Russian forces.
