An Italian was kicked off a bus in Ukraine for supporting Putin: what happened.
According to ТСН: The trip of 53-year-old Italian Rocco, who, according to social media, was traveling to Russia through Ukraine, ended unexpectedly: he was dropped off with no chance of returning. The company AL-TRANS, which is engaged in regular passenger transportation, officially announced its refusal to serve the foreigner due to his open support for the Russian dictator.
The carrier reported this on its social media pages.
"We respond immediately to a frequently asked question. We will not take Rocco back to Italy and do not recommend it to others; let him walk! Our buses are already in Hungary, Rocco is not on board," the company's statement reads.
The conflict occurred thanks to Ukrainian Daria Melnychenko, who recorded offensive statements made by the Italian against Ukrainians and raised the issue of his suitability to stay in the country.
The company expressed gratitude to the girl for her vigilance, which helped to "filter out" the passenger with pro-Russian views.
Currently, the fate of the Italian supporter of Putin remains unknown, as the carrier not only refused him service but also recommended to market colleagues not to allow him on their routes.
It should be noted that the situation unfolded during a bus trip from Italy to Ukraine. The Italian citizen, dressed in a vyshyvanka given by his Ukrainian beloved, openly praised Putin and insulted Ukraine. However, he did not consider that a Ukrainian woman was traveling nearby, who decided not to let this go unpunished.
This story also prompted Ukrainians to create many memes.
The case with Rocco highlights the importance of citizens' vigilance in supporting national values in Ukraine. The reaction of AL-TRANS indicates the readiness of Ukrainian society to defend its principles, especially in the face of modern challenges the country is facing. Such situations evoke widespread resonance and become the subject of discussion both in Ukraine and beyond its borders.
