According to TSN.ua: In the temporarily occupied part of Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia region, Russian airborne troops are conducting drills aimed at preparing for assault operations along the Orikhiv axis. The exercises involve moving through a specially constructed mock-up of a gas pipeline. Vladyslav Voloshyn, spokesperson for the Southern Defense Forces, confirmed the training is taking place at a range in the Zaporizhzhia area.

The drills go beyond standard infantry movement techniques, incorporating electric vehicles—including scooters—into the training. This reflects the occupiers' efforts to adapt to modern battlefield conditions. According to Voloshyn,

“this regiment will be involved in assault actions on the Orikhiv direction.”

Meanwhile, in the southern parts of Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions, Ukrainian troops continue to reclaim territory. Kyiv has recovered approximately 400 square kilometers, a development made possible after Elon Musk disabled Russian military access to Starlink in February. Andriy Biletsky, commander of the Third Army Corps, also reported heightened Russian activity, noting simultaneous attacks across seven sectors along the Lyman-Borova axis. These events underscore the escalating conflict and intensified combat operations in the region.
