According to ТСН: Russia has attacked DTEK's thermal power plant again, causing damage to the station's equipment.

According to DTEK, as a result of this attack, the assets of the thermal power plant suffered serious damage.

“This is already the eighth massive attack on the company’s thermal power plants since October 2025,” the agency emphasized.

Figures from 2022

  • 220 — the number of times DTEK's thermal power plant has been attacked by the enemy since the beginning of the full-scale invasion;

  • 59 — the number of station energy workers injured;

  • 4 — casualties.

It was previously reported that the Russian Federation attacked DTEK's thermal power plant for the sixth time in a month.

“Seriously damaged equipment. We are working to eliminate the consequences of the shelling. This is already the sixth attack on the company’s thermal power plants in the last two months,” DTEK stated.

The ongoing attacks on DTEK's thermal power plants indicate the enormous pressure that Ukraine's energy infrastructure is under. Many stations have already suffered significant losses, deepening the crisis in the energy sector. Continued attacks also raise concerns among workers who risk their lives trying to ensure the stable operation of electricity supply in the country.
