A daughter of the fallen F-16 pilot Pavlo Ivanov was born in Lviv.
According to ТСН: A daughter of the fallen Ukrainian hero, F-16 fighter pilot Pavlo Ivanov, was born in Lviv. The girl was named Justyna – this name was chosen by her parents even before the tragedy.
This was reported by the Lviv Regional Perinatal Center.
According to the center's information, Justyna became a long-awaited child for the family. Pavlo dreamed of a daughter, and his wife Iryna learned about this joyful news only after her husband's heroic death in battle. The girl was born at the 40th week of pregnancy. Her weight was 3 kilograms and her height was 51 centimeters.
"The team of the Lviv Perinatal Center had the great honor to assist in this delivery. We bow to the courage of the family and rejoice that life prevails against all odds! The memory of the Hero now has an earthly continuation – his daughter," noted the perinatal center.
It was also mentioned that Pavlo Ivanov will forever remain in memory as a defender of the sky, whose life now continues in his child.
What is known about Pavlo Ivanov
During a combat mission on an F-16 fighter, 26-year-old pilot Pavlo Ivanov was killed.
It later became known that his plane was likely shot down by a Russian missile. The aircraft was hit either by a guided missile from the ground-based S-400 system or an air-to-air missile R-37.
The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky posthumously awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine to the fallen pilot Pavlo Ivanov.
This event emphasizes the importance of remembering the heroes who defend our country. The birth of Justyna is not only a joy for the Ivanov family but also a symbol of the continuation of life that should be cherished and honored. Heroes do not die – they leave their mark on future generations.
