Syndey Rimma Zubina's Son at the Front: How He Prepared for Service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to ТСН: Ukrainian actress Rimma Zubina for the first time detailed her son Danil Moiseyev's journey to the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Decision to Defend the Country
27-year-old Danil decided to defend his homeland last year. However, the path to military service proved to be challenging. During his first attempt, the young man did not pass the selection for the desired unit, but he did not give up and began to prepare for his second chance purposefully.
Preparation for Service
Zubina mentioned that her son independently focused on preparation – both physically and professionally. He chose a specific direction of service, investing his own funds in education and health support. In particular, Danil purchased specialized equipment for his computer, studied drone management, and underwent laser eye correction to meet the medical commission's requirements.
«He was preparing last year, but did not pass the selection. He voluntarily found the desired branch of the military, bought equipment for the computer, and learned to operate drones. Then he had eye surgery at his own expense – 30,000 UAH. He improved his health to pass the medical commission. From the first days of the war, he worked with foreign journalists» — Rimma shared in the project 'IPSO and People'.
Cooperation with Journalists
Before mobilization, Danil actively cooperated with foreign journalists, accompanying them on various trips across Ukraine during the war. He visited Bucha and Irpin during the occupation. According to Rimma Zubina, her son is well aware of the history of military conflicts. Once, he advised his star mother to visit Sarajevo during international film festivals, emphasizing how the city preserves the memory of war and civilian victims.
This story is a vivid example of how young Ukrainians, demonstrating initiative and readiness for change, are prepared to defend their country. Danil's efforts, his determination, and preparation for service showcase a deep awareness of responsibility for the fate of the homeland among Ukraine's younger generation during war times. It also illustrates the significant strength of civic consciousness, which will undoubtedly be the key to success in the struggle for peace and independence of the country.
