Those with reservations do not need to undergo military medical commission for extension: lawyer's explanation.
According to ТСН: Citizens who have reservations from mobilization at work are not required to undergo a military medical commission for its extension. They also do not need to contact the TCC at their own request.
Who has the right to send to the military medical commission
Individuals working in enterprises recognized as critically important for the Ukrainian economy receive the right to reservation from mobilization.
A man with a valid reservation approached lawyers. He reported that the employer recommends undergoing a military medical commission after the expiration of the reservation for its extension.
The citizen asked whether it is really necessary to do this.
“It is not the employer who sends you to the military medical commission, but the TCC,”
the lawyer emphasized.
Is it necessary to undergo the military medical commission?
“Therefore, as long as you have not received a summons or referral from the last (TCC - ed.), there is no need to undergo the military medical commission,”
the lawyer stressed.
He added that undergoing the military medical commission is not mandatory for the registration or extension of a reservation.
“Similarly, the need to undergo a military medical commission is not defined by law for the extension of a reservation,”
the lawyer summarized.
Thus, citizens who have reservations can be reassured about undergoing the military medical commission if they have not received an appropriate summons from the TCC. This clarification helps to understand that the process of extending reservations is not as complicated as some employees may think.
The rules of reservation remain important for ensuring the stability of critically important sectors in the face of modern challenges. Business owners and their employees need to clearly understand their rights in this context.
