Marko Kvitka: From Stage to Service

According to TSN.ua: Singer Marko Kvitka, who gained fame as a contestant on the 10th season of the vocal competition 'The Voice of the Country', has announced his enlistment in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, where he now serves as a paratrooper. He began his journey on the show under the mentorship of renowned artist Dmytro Monatik, later moving to the team of Tina Karol. Despite his dedication, Kvitka did not advance to the finals of 'The Voice of the Country'.

After his music career on the show ended, Kvitka decided to transform his life by completing basic military training (BZVP). This phase marked a new chapter for him. As he stated,

“The year started with an experience I didn’t expect. But it happened—now I am a serviceman. I am grateful for these two months of training, which made me stronger, taught me to appreciate things with renewed strength, and created a new side of me—a paratrooper!”

Why Service Matters to Marko Kvitka

Kvitka emphasized that airborne training was intense, as a soldier must be capable of handling any task. His decision to join the Armed Forces represents a pivotal step in his life, reflecting his readiness to serve his country.

Marko Kvitka’s enlistment in the Armed Forces of Ukraine is a striking example of how individuals from diverse backgrounds—especially the cultural sector—can contribute to national defense. It also highlights a growing trend among Ukrainian artists and the public to actively engage in military efforts during the nation’s challenging times.
