According to ТСН: Social media is actively discussing the story of Daria Melnychenko, who shared her experiences regarding the Italian Rocco, who supports Putin and tried to enter Ukraine. Daria is the daughter of a Ukrainian defender who is currently fighting against Russian aggression.

Journalist Vitaliy Hlahola noted:

“Daria, who went viral with the Italian Rocco, has a father currently at the front in a trench and without communication and does not yet know that she is now a star for showing a patriotic stance.”

The girl recounted that she did everything possible to prevent Rocco, who openly supports Putin's aggressive policies, from entering Ukraine. She emphasized:

“The story began with the person believing too much in their own strength and telling me that they do not support our president, they support Putin. They called our nation idiots. I showed this man that we are not idiots, who our president is, what kind of people we have. The strength of our internet and just the result is evident.”

Daria also described her experience at the border. Initially, the border guards interviewed them separately, and then they had a joint conversation.

She translated for Rocco, asked him questions about his stance and attitude towards Ukraine. The Italian claimed that it was all slander and expressed indifference towards Zelensky and Putin, while simultaneously showing sympathy for Russia.
