Suspect apprehended in the Chernivtsi region
According to TSN.ua: A 48-year-old man has been arrested in Chernivtsi Oblast for coercing children under 10 into creating pornography. Authorities identified five victims between the ages of 8 and 10. The affected children come from Chernivtsi, Kyiv, Lviv, and Khmelnytskyi regions, with one child living abroad.
To avoid detection, the perpetrator used multiple mobile numbers and fake names when communicating with the minors. He now faces up to 15 years in prison. This case highlights the critical need to protect children from criminal exploitation and to strengthen online safety measures.
