The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India met with the management of OVA
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to Ukraine, Ravi Shankar, arrived in Odessa, reports the Odessa OVA. During the meeting with the OVA leadership, issues of India's assistance in the restoration of irrigation systems in the south, the repair of the regional children's clinical hospital, the operation of the Ukrainian grain corridor, investments in the region, cultural projects, and the activation of international cooperation were discussed. "India is interested in helping Odessa region, as the region historically has connections in various fields with Indian partners," noted Mr. Ravi Shankar.
Issues of the construction and repair of irrigation systems in the south of the Odessa region were also discussed. Oleg Kiper, head of the OVA, expressed hope for support from India, as Ukraine exports grain and oil to this country. Earlier, the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, emphasized that India would never support any plan or proposal that would violate the territorial integrity of Ukraine.
