DZIDZIO revealed the secret of his pseudonym: it comes from his grandfather, a veterinarian.
According to ТСН: Singer Mikhail Khoma, known as DZIDZIO, shared an archival photo on social media before the start of his star career.
This year, the artist plans to return to the big stage. But first, Dzidzio decided to show where it all started. He published a photo with his grandfather Yan Kazimirovich. Khoma explained that his grandfather was a veterinarian, and the name "dzidzio" comes from a Western Ukrainian dialect meaning "grandfather." This word is what inspired his pseudonym.
"That’s me and my dzidzio. In the region where I was born, „dzidzio“ means grandfather. My grandfather, Markul Yan Kazimirovich, was a veterinarian. He was often not at home because he would go to people's houses to treat animals. In the village, almost everyone had a large household, so many people would come to us, and all would ask: „Where's dzidzio? Where's dzidzio? Where's dzidzio?“ endlessly. That’s when I realized my grandfather was mega-popular. That’s where my pseudonym Dzidzio came from," the singer explained.
In the comments, fans noted that the traits and appearance of the relatives have a lot in common, while some even compared Dzidzio to a famous foreign actor.

And Dzidzio in his youth looked like Joffrey Baratheon from "Game of Thrones"
It is worth mentioning that recently actor Leonardo DiCaprio for the first time in a long time showed his mother. He introduced the 82-year-old woman on the red carpet of this year's Golden Globes — a prestigious film award.
Besides personal memories, Dzidzio evokes nostalgia for the past, when many Ukrainians had warm memories of their grandfathers and grandmothers. These family ties remain important even in the world of show business, emphasizing the value of family traditions. DZIDZIO's return to the stage promises to be not only musical but also emotional.
