Interpipe Builds a Technical Education Network in Dnipro, Reaching 13,000 Children Across 20 Sites.
Advancing Technical Education in Dnipro
According to TSN.ua: Since 2019, Interpipe has been working with the city authorities to develop a comprehensive technical education ecosystem in Dnipro. This initiative has established 20 modern educational facilities aimed at fostering technical skills in children. The program has already engaged approximately 13,000 young people, introducing them to the world of modern industry. Such public-private partnerships are increasingly vital for developing a skilled workforce in Ukraine's industrial heartland.
Interpipe's engagement with youth began earlier, in 2016. The first educational track within this program focuses on training qualified industrial workers, a crucial step for the region's economic development. A second track specializes in preparing mechatronics engineers, aligning with current labor market demands. The company is currently preparing to open four additional educational locations, which will further expand learning opportunities for young people.
Lyudmyla Novak, a representative of Interpipe, noted: 'We have been working with children since 2016 and understand that the only way to spark their interest in modern industry and eventually see them in our workshops is to create an engaging and exciting experience for them.'
Thus, the company aims not only to train specialists but also to provide children with hands-on exposure to modern technologies and professions.
The Significance of the Initiative
The development of this technical education ecosystem in Dnipro is a significant step in shaping Ukraine's future industrial potential and equipping the younger generation with the knowledge and skills needed for successful careers.
Interpipe's efforts highlight the importance of preparing youth for the demands of the contemporary job market. The introduction of new educational tracks and the opening of new sites demonstrate the company's commitment to supplying qualified personnel not just for its own industry but also for the broader economic development of the region. This initiative could serve as a model for other Ukrainian companies seeking to support youth and foster competitive specialists across various sectors.
