Russia again attacked energy facilities: where in Ukraine electricity outages have been implemented.
According to ТСН: In the night from Thursday to Friday, the Russian army once again attacked energy facilities in several regions of Ukraine, resulting in the introduction of electricity outage schedules in the regions.
According to the National Energy Company “Ukrenergo”, a new power outage occurred in the Zaporizhzhia region in the morning. Restoration of damaged equipment in Kyiv and Odesa regions is also ongoing.
Situation with energy supply
Due to previous massive attacks on the energy system, hourly outages have been introduced for all consumers in most regions. Energy workers emphasize the importance of economical energy use in the areas that have been affected.
“Maximally limit the use of powerful electrical appliances. If possible, move energy-intensive processes to nighttime hours - after 11:00 PM. Rational consumption of electricity will contribute to a shorter duration of forced outages”
Impact of weather conditions
In addition, due to unfavorable weather conditions, such as strong winds and wet snow accumulation, 27 settlements in the Ivano-Frankivsk region remained without electricity supply. Repair teams of the energy company are actively working to restore the power grid.
As of Friday, energy workers have implemented electricity outage schedules for Kyiv and many regions. At the same time, the areas of Volyn, Prykarpattia, Zakarpattia, as well as Lviv and Rivne regions are currently not subject to restrictions.
The current situation with electricity supply confirms that Ukraine's energy infrastructure is still under direct threat from aggression. In wartime conditions, it is important to follow the recommendations of specialists to reduce the load on the energy system and preserve resources for critically important needs of the population.
