According to ТСН: Sad news: Ukrainian journalist, former editor-in-chief of the "Ukrainian News" and RBC-Ukraine agencies, Denys Bezliudko has passed away.

This was announced by the team of the "Ukrainian News" agency, as well as his wife Lesia Kazachynska on her Facebook page.

Death of the Journalist

The message states that Denys Bezliudko's death was sudden and premature. He led the agency's editorial board for 15 years, navigating through difficult transformations, maintaining the team, and adapting it to new informational realities. Although he left the "Ukrainian News" in 2014, his name remains a significant part of the agency's history.

It is also emphasized that Denys Bezliudko maintained contact with the editorial team even after his dismissal.

Work Experience

The journalist also headed RBC-Ukraine in 2015–2016 and worked in a number of leading Ukrainian media outlets.

"With extraordinary pain, I report that my husband has passed to a better world. Unexpectedly and suddenly – he did not return from a regular morning jog," wrote the journalist's wife Lesia Kazachynska.

Denys Bezliudko's death is yet another loss for Ukrainian journalism, which was recently shaken by the tragedy of investigative journalist Oleksa Shalaysky's death. This situation highlights the difficult times the media sphere in Ukraine is going through, as well as its need for specialists capable of not only informing but also influencing society.
