Mobilized soldier found dead after a month: the family of the deceased does not believe the official version.

According to ТСН: A 31-year-old Igor Narodov from Kirovohrad region was found dead in Vinnytsia region, a month after his mobilization. He was to turn 32 on January 2.

His sister Irina said that her brother was mobilized on September 29 while she was abroad with their mother in Germany. According to her words, during the transport to the training battalion, Igor allegedly jumped out of the truck and ran into the forest.

«…On November 2, our fellow villager went to this military unit, and a commander or major, I’m not sure, came out and said that Igor had epilepsy. By evening he felt better and ran away. Then he handed over his documents, showed them, and that was it,» says the sister of the deceased.

Irina assures that there were no signs of epilepsy in her brother before the mobilization.

The body of the man was found in a ravine

Irina started searching for Igor on social media. She posted his photo and military ID on the page of the Olhopil community on Facebook. On the evening of November 5, an investigator contacted her and informed her about the found body in a ravine.

«My brother was lying in the ravine completely naked, without underwear. One of his boots and clothing were found 50 meters from the body. There are relevant photographs. The second was found three to five kilometers away by agrarians who were working the fields. However, these details are not included in the case, even though we believe this is direct evidence that Igor was killed. How can someone take off their shoes in such an area where there are a lot of branches and earth?» the woman is outraged.

Fellow villagers came to collect the body of the man and claim that his body was not stored in a refrigerator but lay on the floor in a bag.

The mobilized soldier was buried as an unidentified person

«The guys wanted to open the bag well, but there was nothing to see because the body had already been decomposing for several days. Villagers confirmed that it was Igor. The next day, my older brother, who serves in the Armed Forces, went to the morgue. He wanted to take the body and bury it in his native Kazavchyna. At that time, my mother and I left Germany,» says Irina.

However, on the day of identification, Igor was buried as unidentified.

The woman noted that initially, they could not rebury Igor in his native village at the cemetery due to the lack of a death certificate. When they received it and learned that the cause of death was undetermined, they decided to hire a lawyer.

What they say in the military unit

The commander of the military unit Yuri Dehtereov claimed in a comment that Igor ran away without starting training.

«The soldier jumped out of the VAZ truck and disappeared into the adjacent forest. His actual time in the military unit was less than one day,» assures the commander.

The head of the local Military Law Enforcement Department adds that they were unable to locate the mobilized soldier.

What they say in the police

«According to the expert's conclusion, due to significant pronounced putrefactive changes in Igor Narodov's corpse, it is impossible to establish the exact cause of death. Besides soft tissue damage by fly larvae and animal teeth, no bodily injuries were found. Currently, the pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceedings is ongoing,» the police response to journalists' inquiries states.

In a letter to the sister, the police reported that «there was no suicide note near the body, no signs of violent death, struggle, or signs of alcoholic intoxication were found.»

The relatives of the deceased plan to conduct an independent examination of the body to determine the cause of death.

Earlier, it was reported that a resident of Zaporizhzhia died the day after mobilization.

This situation has caused widespread public resonance, as cases of violence and mysterious deaths of servicemen are becoming increasingly common. Igor's relatives hope to obtain justice and clarity about the reasons for his death through an independent examination.
