Severe frosts and snowfalls in Ukraine

According to ТСН: Significant changes in the weather are expected in Ukraine this week. After a relatively mild winter, a wave of strong frosts, snowfall and gusty winds is approaching the territory of the country.

This was reported by the well-known forecaster Natalka Didenko on social media.

According to the forecast, deterioration of weather conditions will be felt as early as today. The country is expecting snow, wet snow and gusts of wind, which will significantly complicate the situation on the streets.

Danger on the road

The forecaster drew attention to the night before January 7. At this time, the temperature will begin to drop, which will lead to the freezing of wet surfaces.

“During the night before January 7, it will begin to freeze again, so especially dangerous can be icy conditions. Move very, very carefully on streets and sidewalks!”

Real frosts are approaching

The most significant drop in temperature is expected before the weekend. The expert made an important warning about the arrival of true winter cold.

“According to preliminary forecasts, which still require clarification, from January 9-10 a significant cooling is expected in Ukraine”

However, despite the alarming forecast, there is also good news: the duration of the strong frosts will not be long.

According to Didenko, the cold front will not linger in Ukraine for long. Already on January 14, on Old Vasyl's day, the frosts will begin to recede, and temperatures will rise again.

We remind you that earlier we wrote about how to protect your skin and eyes from dryness in the winter period.

The next few days may become a challenge for the residents of Ukraine due to weather changes, so it is important to be careful, especially on the roads. Despite the severe cold, the temperature will begin to rise quite soon, so winter, although it has shown its strength, will not stay for long. Take care of yourselves and be attentive in difficult weather conditions!
