Ukraine is being covered by frost and ice: meteorologists warn of danger on the roads.

According to ТСН: Today, cloudy weather prevails in Ukraine, with snow and frost expected.

According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, light snow is possible in the northwest and northeast of the country. In the southeast and east, there will be moderate wet snow with rain, as well as a likelihood of wet snow and ice formation. No precipitation is forecasted in the rest of the territory.

Ice will persist in some places on the roads. The wind will be predominantly from the west and southwest at a speed of 7-12 m/s.

Temperature Indicators

The lowest temperatures will be observed in the western regions and Vinnytsia region, where at night the temperature will reach 13-18° of frost, and during the day – from -9 to -14°.

In the northern regions, as well as in Cherkasy, Poltava, and Kirovohrad regions, 7-12° of frost is expected at night and during the day. In the rest of the territory, at night the temperature will fluctuate from 3 to 8° of frost, during the day – from 2° of frost to 3° of warmth (in Crimea, at night around 0°, and during the day 3-8° of warmth).

Weather in Kyiv

In the capital, it is cloudy with light snow, and ice is present in some places on the roads. The wind is from the southwest at the same speed of 7-12 m/s. The temperature in Kyiv region at night and during the day will be 7-12° of frost, in the capital itself – around 10° of frost.
