Changes in the schedule of suburban trains: where and when train services will be canceled in January.
According to ТСН: In January and February, some suburban trains in Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Kharkiv regions will change routes or temporarily not run due to repair works.
This was reported by the press service of "Ukrzaliznytsia: suburban trains".
Changes in train routes
From January 8–11 and January 18–23, suburban trains will run on a changed route:
№6021 Lviv-Suburban — Yasenitsa (instead of Lviv-Suburban — Syanok)
№6022 Yasenitsa — Lviv-Suburban (instead of Syanok — Lviv-Suburban).
Temporary suspension of service
In Prykarpattia, on January 15, 16, 19–23, 26–29 and February 19–21, 23–28, suburban trains will only run temporarily:
№6423 Ivano-Frankivsk — Stryi
№6424 Stryi — Ivano-Frankivsk.
Changed schedule in Kharkiv region
January 19–24 several suburban trains will run on a new schedule in the Kharkiv region:
№6651 Sakhnovshchyna — Berestyn: departure at 06:18, arrival at 07:18 (instead of 05:52 and 06:58 respectively)
№6654 Berestyn — Sakhnovshchyna: departure at 08:12, arrival at 09:15 (instead of 08:30 and 09:33 respectively).
"Ukrzaliznytsia" has stopped ticket sales for some trains that depart after January 21 due to the need to adjust the train schedule. This has occurred as a result of the Russian shelling of the railway section near Fastiv in Kyiv region.
"UZ" stated about serious disruptions after the last shelling of the Fastiv railway node.
It should also be noted that tickets for some routes to Fastiv are not being sold, and starting from January 13, some trains will not stop at the station.
Changes in train schedules in Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Kharkiv regions were caused by the need for repairs. It seems that 'Ukrzaliznytsia' is trying to optimize transportation in the face of increasing challenges. This reflects the current situation in the country and the desire to ensure passenger safety.
