According to TSN.ua: Ukrainian Member of Parliament Orest Salamakha died in a road traffic accident on Tuesday in the village of Sokilnyky, located in the Lviv region. The news of the deputy's death was reported around 8:00 PM. Lviv City Council deputy Ihor Zinkevych was the first to publicly confirm the incident.
Salamakha was a member of the ruling 'Servant of the People' party. Following the tragedy, the head of the parliamentary finance committee, Danylo Hetmantsev, expressed his condolences for the loss of his colleague, stating:
