A 1818 Bible Prophecy Found About the End of Humanity: What It Means.
According to ТСН: A mysterious prophecy regarding a new phase for all humanity has been discovered in the Bible released in 1818. A century-long biblical chronology indicates that we are in a pivotal year as the world enters an era of divine judgment, renewal, or reboot.
Prophecy and Chronological Calculations
Kaila Godgins pointed out on social media that the 1818 Bible, which contains both the Old and New Testaments as well as the Apocrypha, includes a prophecy about a new phase in the world's development. According to biblical texts, the world was created in 4004 BC. It is indicated that 3974 years passed from Adam to Christ, and another 1815 years from the birth of Christ to the release of the Bible.
In total, these figures amount to 5789 years from the Creation of the world to the beginning of the 19th century. Godgins also calculated, taking into account the years since the printing of the Bible, obtaining around 6000 years, which some consider a sign of the completion of the current epoch of humanity.
The Seven-Day Cycle in Worldview
In some Jewish and Christian traditions, history is perceived as a seven-part structure resembling the seven days of Creation. In this concept, the world has gone through six “days” or 6000 years of human efforts and upheaval, after which a seventh “day” of rest is expected, often associated with messianic or millennial reign.
The conclusion of the sixth “day” is seen as an important moment signaling the end of the current epoch of humanity and the entry into a new one governed by God.
Proponents of this theory emphasize that it is not about sudden destruction, but rather a dramatic transition. Some describe it as the end of human dominance, while others would see it as significant global upheavals, moral reckoning, or spiritual transformation.
Caution in Interpretation
However, biblical scholars urge caution in interpreting this chronology. Many emphasize that the date of the Creation of the world, which is noted in old editions of the Bible, is merely one of historical interpretations and not a universally accepted doctrine.
The date of the Creation of the world was established by James Ussher, an Irish archbishop of the 17th century, who became famous for his chronology indicating that Creation occurred in 4004 BC. Ussher meticulously calculated the lifespan of biblical figures, the age of patriarchs, and key events such as the Flood, determining that Creation took place on October 23.
18th and 19th-century editions of the Bible, including that of 1818, typically include chronological tables compiled based on Ussher's research. Modern theology generally perceives this chronology as symbolic rather than literal.
These reflections on biblical prophecies and chronologies provoke new considerations regarding the future of humanity. Discussions on such topics may be essential for understanding the historical and cultural contexts in which we live. Regardless of interpretation, anxiety about the future and attempts to find meaning in history have always been an inseparable part of human existence.
