Uzhhorod: 17-year-old teenager dies after falling from a high-rise window.
According to ТСН: In Uzhhorod, on Zankovetska Street, a boy jumped from the window of a high-rise building and died on the spot.
“The tragedy occurred in the evening on Zankovetska Street in Uzhhorod — a person fell from the window of a high-rise building. This is a boy born in 2008. He has died,” he stated.
Emergency services and police were working at the scene to establish the circumstances of the tragedy. According to preliminary data, it concerns a 17-year-old boy, but official confirmation of this information is not yet available.
Incident in Ternopil
Also, in Ternopil, police are investigating another unfortunate incident where an 18-year-old student fell from the third floor window of a dormitory and died in the hospital a week later.
These incidents raise concerns about youth safety in Ukraine. Local authorities need to pay more attention to youth mental health issues and organize events to prevent similar tragedies in the future.
