According to TSN.ua: During an air raid alert on January 26, explosions rocked the Zaporizhzhia district, with the city of Vilniansk coming under attack. According to Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, the strikes damaged several multi-story residential buildings, shattering windows and scarring building facades. The region has been a frequent target since the onset of the full-scale invasion in 2022.
Ivan Fedorov reported that a fire broke out in Vilniansk as a result of the attack, but fortunately, there were no casualties.
The assault was carried out using Shahed-type attack drones, with hostile unmanned aerial vehicles reported moving toward Zaporizhzhia. Authorities urged residents to remain in shelters until the all-clear was given.
