The residential complex 'Luxembourg' on Serednya Street in Odesa, which was damaged by a missile strike on December 29, 2023, has been fully restored. A total of 37 million UAH from the city budget was spent on the works.

This was reported by the Odesa City Council.

Restoration of this building

As of today, all major construction and installation work at the residential complex 'Luxembourg' has been completed. The total amount of financing was nearly 37 million UAH, which was directed to emergency measures, restoration of structures, and assistance to affected residents for window and door replacements.

During the restoration:

  • a new reinforced concrete frame, ceilings, and diaphragms were installed;
  • external and internal walls were restored;
  • all engineering networks, electrical panels, fire systems were replaced, and new elevators were installed;
  • the territory was improved.

Residents whose apartments suffered the most damage are advised to apply to the state program 'eRecovery', where they can receive compensation for repairs of up to 350 thousand UAH.

Impact on the residential complex 'Luxembourg'

A Russian missile struck the residential complex 'Luxembourg' on Serednya Street in Odesa on the morning of December 29, 2023. As a result of the strike, key structural elements of the building from the first to the sixth floor were destroyed, including three columns and two stiffness diaphragms.

As a result of the attack, three people were killed, and 15 were injured, including children aged six and eight.

The first construction works at 'Luxembourg' began on February 2, 2024.

The residential complex 'Luxembourg' in Odesa, which was damaged by the missile strike, was fully restored with the help of the city budget amounting to 37 million UAH. The works included restoring structures, replacing engineering networks, and improving the territory. The mayor expressed gratitude to everyone who participated in the restoration of the building. Residents of the complex who were most affected are advised to apply to the state program for compensation for repairs.
