Golden Globe 2026 announces winners: the film "One Battle After Another" received four awards.
According to ТСН: On the night of January 12, the 83rd Golden Globe Awards ceremony took place in Los Angeles, organized by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.
The ceremony was held at one of the hotels in Beverly Hills, where the winners were also announced. The film "One Battle After Another" by Paul Thomas Anderson received the most awards, winning four statuettes, including in the main categories: Best Motion Picture (Comedy or Musical), Best Director, Best Screenplay, and Best Supporting Actress. The film competed in nine categories.
In the drama category, the film "Hamnet" directed by Chloé Zhao won the award for Best Dramatic Film of the Year.
Winners in Television Categories
Among television projects, the miniseries "Youth" drew the most attention, winning four awards, including the title of Best Miniseries. The jury recognized "Pitt" as the Best Dramatic Series, while "Studio" won in the comedy genre.
Nominations and Innovations
The ceremony was also memorable for the introduction of two new nominations. For the first time, the Golden Globe recognized podcasts and television stand-up shows. The award for Best Podcast went to Amy Poehler, and for stand-up — Ricky Gervais.
