Third Son Born to Anna Sagaidachna: What Benefits Does a Mother of Three Receive?.
Anna Sagaidachna Now a Mother of Three
According to TSN.ua: On February 26, Anna Sagaidachna welcomed her third son, officially becoming a mother of three. To mark the occasion, she applied for a one-time birth grant of 50,000 hryvnias, a key component of Ukraine’s state support program for families with children.
Financial Assistance for Families
In addition to the birth grant, Anna received 8,451 hryvnias in lieu of the traditional baby package. She is also eligible for monthly child support for her third child, amounting to 2,100 hryvnias until the child turns six. Experts recommend that parents apply for a monthly payment of 7,000 hryvnias per child up to the age of one.
Notably, Anna discovered she was pregnant only in her fifth month, making the happy news an unexpected but no less joyful surprise.
This story highlights the critical role of government aid for Ukrainian families, especially as the cost of raising children continues to rise. Such financial support can significantly ease the economic burden that comes with expanding a household. A growing number of families with three or more children may also reflect positive shifts in the country’s demographic policies.
